So remember that photoset a posted a few months back about the Everyman project?

Well, here is the final result; the hoarding’s are finally up and around Liverpool city centre!

the photograph i used to create the illustration from.

Here’s a few of the other ways I attempted the illustration. I created the colour by painting a piece of A4 using water colours then scanning them in and manipulating it using photoshop.

This is the front view of my cv. I got the idea when talking about our unique points as individuals, and somebody mentioned my mickey mouse tattoo. Seeing as it’s probably my favourite part about me, i figured it’s be great to do an illustration of it for my front cover.
While trying to get a good photograph from such an awkward angle though, and kept getting just the side to back of my head, I figured it’d be quite cool to try and do a linear drawing of the whole photograph, then maybe drop some colour into the bleached streak of my hair, which is pretty much constantly changing.
after a few attempts this was the result i was most happy with, and voila! here it is.

Liverpool by me.

These photos are the answer to a live brief I was recently given for the Uniform Design Company, the client beingThe Everyman. I was asked to capture the textures & patterns of Liverpool, summed up in four final photographs.

I know there are five here, but I got carried away. Considering I took 253, I think I did pretty well whittling them down.

Photos include;

  •  The Peter Pan statue, found @ Sefton Park
  •  The Eros fountain, found @ Sefton Park
  •  Inside the Palm House, found @ Sefton Park
  •  Those Giant Floating Ball Things outside Nation, found in Liverpool City Centre
  •  & A Chinese Dragon Guardian infront of the China Town Archway, found infront of China Town, Liverpool City Centre

Business Cards

Possibly almost as important as our actual CVs, business cards are another way of getting our personality and styles across in a public manner.

Some awesome examples I’ve stumbled upon.
