This is the front view of my cv. I got the idea when talking about our unique points as individuals, and somebody mentioned my mickey mouse tattoo. Seeing as it’s probably my favourite part about me, i figured it’s be great to do an illustration of it for my front cover.
While trying to get a good photograph from such an awkward angle though, and kept getting just the side to back of my head, I figured it’d be quite cool to try and do a linear drawing of the whole photograph, then maybe drop some colour into the bleached streak of my hair, which is pretty much constantly changing.
after a few attempts this was the result i was most happy with, and voila! here it is.
Another example of a visual cv. I posted this one separate because it’s one of my favourites. I really like the sketchy-ness of the illustration and the fact that it resembles any other typical character sketch someone may produce and i think really captures the personality (i’m assuming so anyway, not knowing the artist personally and all) of the artist very well - it shows through in the sketch. It’s also the one I could relate to, and see myself attempting, the most in the future.
